New Foxhunting Art - an original watercolor

I just finished this one tonight. Although it's small, I spent HOURS on the little hounds - I got such a kick out of all of them! Thank you so much to David Baker at http://www.flickr.com/photos/clodhopperfotos for allowing me to use his gorgeous photo!

Wow!! Really, I am amazed at the amount of detail and work it must have taken to paint this incredible scene. Looking at the larger image linked off your website its quite astounding to see each of the dogs faces, expressions and different poses, all looking as excited as the next to be on their way to the hunt.
amazing work, glad i did not miss this.

Holy smoke..........I can't believe how beautifully you captured all the dogs faces; and so many of them! I must be weird because I welled up and tears came to my eyes for what you accomplished. When I see someone do something like this I get so emotional. It's part awe, part "could I do that someday too", and thankfulness to God he has opened my eyes to my artistic talents too because my art brings me so much pleasure. What a wonderful way to start my day, looking at your beautiful painting.

Love the dogs; you can really paint some animals.
